National Accounts Manager
Let’s go Ryan we only have 180 seconds…tell us in two sentences what is a National Accounts Manager?
I am a sales solution expert that handles accounts from sea to shining sea. I am based out of our Arlington, VA office so the hole sea to shiny sea thing is catching, right I have clients from Seattle to NYC to Florida and everywhere in between. I do my absolute best to always maximize budgets while ensuring that everything we do meets their highest standards, and that it arrives on time! It’s hard to say I am just a sales guy simply because selling is only one small aspect of my day. From ideas to delivery, we help see that every project is handled exactly as you need it.
What experience did you have before taking on your current position?
I worked on the production side at Omni for 1 year before joining the sales team in 2013. Being on the production floor learning every possible product and process truly helped me gain a vast knowledge of all of our Omni capabilities. Before joining Omni, I was a manager with PF Chang’s in the DC Metro area for 7 years.
What do you like to do when you are not at Omni?
I really enjoy hiking in the summers and skiing in the winters. I like to consider myself as an outdoor weekend warrior when I am not at Omni.
What is the best part of your job:
The best part of my job is getting to see a big project materialize from a phone call, to a digital proof, into finished products that I see in action.
What do you enjoy most about our customers?
As a big fan of the outdoors, I really enjoy working with brands that are part of my life such as Nuun, Outdoor Research, Mammut, and Avery Brewing
Do you have a favorite project of all time?
Recently, I’ve really enjoyed working with Outdoor Research on putting together their National Sales Rep Kits.
Family or little kiddos running around?
I am not married, and do not have kids…but I have the coolest dog in the world!
If you could go anywhere in the world on a vacation…where would you go? Do you think you would back or stay forever?
Next on my bucket list is to do some backpacking in Nepal, so I’d at least need to stay for a while!
If you weren’t working at OMNI, what would you be doing?
If I weren’t working at Omni, I’d love to open my own Restaurant/Bar…which is probably why some of my favorite projects are connected to all the brewery’s I work with as well.
